27 Las Vegas Attractions in 1-2 Days or a Week.
Las Vegas – one continuous entertainment complex. Millions of tourists from all over the world come to the city of numerous casinos, night clubs, first-class restaurants and hotels every year. But here they are waiting not only for excitement, risk and excellent service. Very interesting sights of Vegas – museums, canyons and national parks. Today I talk about the best objects of the city and its environs.
Las Vegas in one day: what to see, where to go
It will be about the TOP places of the city, which are indicated in all guidebooks.
Sign “Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas”
The main attraction of Las Vegas is the sign “Welcome to the Fabulous Las Vegas”. A sign in the form of a diamond with pointed lower and upper corners was installed in 1959 on a boulevard in the southern part of the Strip. The design of the sign in the style of googie was entrusted to Betty Willis. The height of the structure is 7.6 m. Since 2009, the sign is included in the National Register of Historic Monuments of the United States. The design of the mark is not protected by copyright, so it can be seen on any souvenir products, in the design of buildings, etc.
But get ready to stand in line to take a picture against the backdrop of a popular sign!
We stood for 10 minutes, and behind us a queue was created even longer!
By the way, the sign has a large parking lot, therefore, you can drive up here before entering Vegas or already at the exit. To go from the city and especially to go, I do not recommend. About an hour on foot from the center.
Las Vegas Strip and the famous Vegas hotels
I will dwell on the Las Vegas Strip, this is what millions of tourists travel to Vegas for. The best casino hotels of the city, shops, bars, shopping centers, restaurants are concentrated on this 7-kilometer boulevard.
Perhaps the most famous is the Hell’s Kitchen or Hells Kitchen restaurant, lunch in which will cost from $ 150 for two, dinner – from $ 200.
The local hotels are decorated in the style of medieval castles and art deco buildings. No need to go to New York, Paris, Venice or Egypt to see popular attractions, Vegas has everything from the Eiffel Tower to the Sphinx. The average cost of living in one such hotel is $ 150 per night in a double room.
We stayed at Paris Las Vegas. It is located in the center of the Strip, opposite the fountains of the Bellagio. This is a 4 * hotel decorated in French style. Decorated with a copy of the Eiffel Tower and other “Parisian” sights. The hotel has a pool, but it is closed in February. Of the infrastructure, it is worth highlighting the theater, spa, 11 gourmet restaurants, 5 bars with a good selection of snacks, desserts and drinks. In the casino you can play slot machines or any other gambling.
Hotel Venice 5 * is another notable hotel complex on the Strip. Having crossed its threshold, guests find themselves in little Venice with its sights and unique atmosphere. There are even walks along the narrow artificially created gondola river and the famous carnivals. The hotel has one of the city’s most prestigious casinos.
The New York Hotel , which is also located on the Strip, has 4 stars. It hosts vibrant show programs and music and dance evenings, there are attractions and a roller coaster. The hotel has a casino with 67 card tables. Beginners can take one master class from the maestro for free.
Another famous hotel is the Ceasars Palace 5 * or Caesar’s Palace, which was further enhanced by the film “The Hangover Party”. The complex is decorated in the style of ancient Rome. It has 7 pools and 13 restaurants with impeccable service and a wide selection of dishes. In the modern beautiful hall with television screens you can watch sports competitions and place bets. The number of rooms consists of 3960 stylish apartments. The hotel often hosts wedding ceremonies. World-class stars appear at the 3000 m² nightclub, and the local spa is included in the TOP-100 of the best US spa centers.
Hotel “Bellagio” 5 * was built in 1998. It is designed for 4000 guests. 14 restaurants on site, a luxurious garden, pools and bars – the complex’s infrastructure is rich. The rooms are decorated in a stylish classic style. In addition to the high level of service, Bellagio is known for its “singing” fountains, which are not inferior to the fountains in Dubai.
Magnificent musical fountains, equipped with 4.5 thousand light bulbs, are located 100 meters from the main entrance to the Bellagio Hotel. Every day from noon until late at night, bright music and light shows are held here. Powerful jets of water perform a spectacular dance to the eternal hits of Frank Sinatra, Luciano Pavorotti, Madonna, Elton John and Celine Dion. In total, the fountain produces 1175 water jets. The creation of this masterpiece took 40 million dollars. Each performance lasts about 5 minutes, you can watch it for free at any time.

Of course, the more time you spend in this amazing city of Nevada, the better. But if you only have a couple of days left, pay attention to the following points of interest.
Fremont Street is another famous Las Vegas street located in Downtown, Old Town. Until 1990, it was the center of nightlife, and then built the modern Strip and the main “party” moved there. Although nowadays here, just like on the Strip, there are the most popular casinos, restaurants, and shows (but more often the shows are arranged by street performers). Car traffic has been banned since 1994, and the history of the street itself began 100 years ago. Bright large signs, a huge number of buildings in various architectural styles made Fremont Street an ideal place for filming various films: “Back to the Future” (in the “role” of Beef Casino – Plaza Hotel & Casino), “Diamonds Forever”, “Darling, I reduced children. “
Chapel of the Flowers (Las Vegas Chapel)
And these attractions will be very popular with girls. The Las Vegas Chapel, or in other words, the Chapel of Flowers is a legendary place where couples from all over the world marry.
