How to get from Schönefeld Airport

How to get from Schönefeld to Berlin

Schönefeld Airport is located in the east, 18 km from the center of Berlin. Getting from it to the German capital is easy. Choose your preferred mode of transport.

Taxis and transfers at Schönefeld Airport.

Look for taxi stops directly opposite the exit from terminal A. Go to the nearest car and get in. A trip to the center will cost you approximately € 40.

Another convenient and quick way to get to Berlin from Schönefeld Airport is by private transfer. The service can be ordered in advance. The driver will meet you upon arrival and take you in the right direction. Why, despite the price difference, I prefer a transfer to a regular taxi : firstly, I book in advance and I know the exact price (the driver can take at least some way and at least how much is in traffic jams – for me the price will not increase!), And secondly , on the spot there’s no need to explain where to go and follow the navigator, whether we are going there and the driver understood me correctly, thirdly, the driver meets a sign right at the exit of the arrival hall (and usually helps with luggage!), no need to look for a way to a taxi rank! The transfer price for this route is from € 62. Book here. Read my review about kiwitaxi individual transfer here .
